The amazing-maze game Quoridor is a must among strategy games. The rules are really simple: just make it through the maze your opponent creates to get to the other side. Quoridor requires strategy and quick thinking. The solid wooden construction of this ‘Classic' edition gives it an elegant, coffee-table appeal. How to play: on your turn you may either move your pawn one space (forward, backward or sideways), or place a wall. Walls can be placed anywhere on the board but can't make it impossible for you opponent to get to the other side (just very, very hard). The first pawn to reach the opposite side wins! This fast-paced game lasts around 15 minutes.
• Can you get your pawn to the opposite side of the board first in Quoridor.
• Pawns are moved one square at a time, vertically or horizontally, forwards or backwards.
• The twist is players can also choose to put up fences to block their opponent.
